Rethinking How Venture Works with AI

VentureOS is an AI-native venture ecosystem built for both sides of the funding table : founders raising capital and investors deploying it.

The fundraising process was broken on both ends. Founders were pitching the same deck ten times over, chasing warm intros and reformatting materials for every fund. Investors were drowning in inbound, manually sifting through hundreds of applications to find the handful worth a conversation.

As the founding designer, I owned the entire user experience from scratch: starting from an idea and building it into a working two-sided platform over ten months. First the founder application experience, then the investor and admin dashboards where those applications are reviewed and matched

Investor Dashboard

The platform collected thousands of signals and sources on every application. My job was to make those insights usable.

That was the hardest design problem. There was an enormous amount of information behind every application, and showing all of it would have recreated the exact overwhelm the product was meant to solve. My challenge was to prioritize: what surfaces first, what stays one layer down, and what an investor actually needs to make a call.

So I designed the dashboard around the decision, letting investors move straight from the full pool of applications to the companies that stand out. And because trust mattered as much as speed, every insight was traceable back to its source, so investors could act fast while still seeing exactly where each finding came from.

Founder Application

I designed the founder experience to be far more than a long form. Instead of a static submission that disappears into an inbox, it walks founders through how their information is collected, processed, and positioned, so they can see the work being done to match them with the right fund.

The application becomes a single source of truth for their company, built from everything they provide plus what the agents surface through their own research. We stitch it into a sharp, complete case, so founders don't keep re-making their argument from scratch. And where something can't be validated, the agent asks pointed questions, the kind a founder has to stop and think about, because the answer can make or break their case. The result is fewer back and forths and less confusion on both sides, so founders and investors save time and founders get closer to funding.

The Outcome

The design held up under real scale. Thousands of founder applications flowed through the experience I built, and the ones that fit surfaced to the right funds instead of getting lost in an inbox. On the investor side, 15+ venture partners now use the dashboard to review, meet, and commit capital, with a 79.3% pitch-to-meeting rate.

What started as an idea became a working product that people on both sides actually rely on to make real funding decisions.
